A sustainable partnership for zero waste standard

The NZI Sustainable Business Network Awards 2017 were once again a great event to be involved with, and we were proud to be an Event Partner for the second year running. The black-tie event, held at Auckland’s waterfront on November 29, featured the heavy hitters of New Zealand’s sustainable business world – from large corporates to small enterprises making a big difference. It was particularly significant to see Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern as well as Climate Change Minister James Shaw, Environment and Economic Development Minister David Parker and Napier MP Stuart Nash turn out for the awards. Sponsoring zero waste standard

3R were delighted to be an Event Partner of the 2016 Sustainable Business Awards, held last Thursday at Shed 10 in Auckland. The Awards lived up to their glamorous reputation with the “Who’s Who” of New Zealand sustainable businesses attending the black tie event. 3R partnered with SBN, Green Shoot Pacific and The Great Catering Company to deliver a zero waste event in line with industry best practice. What a success! Through correct waste separation and monitoring, a 99% diversion rate was achieved. A great achievement for the first year as a zero waste event! 3R runner-up in SBN Awards standard

3R were delighted to receive a commendation in the Auckland Council Mega Efficiency Impact Award last night at the 2015 NZI Sustainable Business Network Awards.  The Impact award went to Kaibosh. Over 500 people with a keen interest in sustainability attended the gala dinner held at Shed 10 on Auckland’s waterfront. The ‘NZI Greatest Contribution to a Sustainable New Zealand’ (Supreme Award) went to Taupō Beef who also won the Restorative Impact Award through its vision to lead New Zealand beef farming while also protecting the water quality in Lake Taupō.
