Disposal fees find support with kiwis image

I noted with interest an article in the New Zealand Herald last week citing a new survey that shows more than half of car tyre purchasers would be prepared to pay a levy to assist in the environmentally friendly disposal of tyres. (The survey did also say that one in five would rather spend their cash on a nice set of shoes or gadget than a quality set of tyres. A somewhat more worrying statistic.) A bold new vision image

From “doing” to “design and delivery” 3R has been working in the product stewardship space since our inception in 2004. It’s certainly a challenging field but it’s also exciting and exceptionally rewarding. The challenges come from a lack of understanding as to what stewardship is and what it entails, through to bringing together competing companies to work on an industry solution, and influencing behaviour change for existing programmes.
